Gurudwara Sri Kothri Sahib, Sultanpur Lodhi, a narrow low roofed cell in a small house in Mohalla Vaddian, is where Guru Nanak was detained while his accounts were being checked following a false complaint lodged by his detractors. In one of the two small rooms close by is seated the Guru Granth Sahib.

Gurudwara Sri Kothri Sahib, Sultanpur Lodhi is situated in the Sultanpur Lodhi city of Kapurthala district. When nawab daulat khaan felt that his shop is going in loss because of Guru Nanak Sahib, he arrested Guru Sahib and kept here. But when the whole inventory was checked he applogized profusely.
