A Famous Musician named Bhai Phiranda used to reside here. He was a Carpenter by trade and also manufactured Rabab (a musical instrument). When First Sikh Guru, Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji was about to leave Sultanpur Lodhi for his Preaching tours, he sent his disciple Bhai Mardana to Village Bharoana to buy a Rabab. Bhai Phiranda gave a special Rabab which sounded like 'Tu Hi Nirankar, Tu Hi Nirankar' (a divine melody in praise of Almighty), but when he came to know that Guru Nanak had ordered it, he did not take any money.
