This Gurdwara is situated at a distance of 45 Km South of Sunam on Jakhal-Patiala Road in town Moonak.
The Ninth Sikh Guru, Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji visited this place in 1665 while on his way from Anandpur sahib to Bihar and Assam. Guru Ji reached Village Gurne Kalan, then went to Gobindpura and on reaching Village Lehal Kalan, he sat on a high mound. A farmer named Adak was working in his fields nearby, he came, bowed before Guru Ji and asked for any service. Guru Ji preached him and after staying for sometime, he alongwith his followers started his journey towards Moonak.
When Guru Ji reached Moonak, a small Pond and dense bushes existed here. Guru Ji sat on the bank of the Pond. A person named Mal Singh, a relative of Adak served Guru Ji with devotion. Guru Ji was pleased and blessed the Pond by saying whosoever will take bath here with devotion, all his ills would go.
Gurudwara Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib, Moonak is situated in Village Moonak, district Sangrur. Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib ji came here via Gobindpura- Lehal Kalan. When Guru Sahib reached here, here was dense bushes and a small pond. Guru Sahib blessed this place that who Sarovar will take bath in this pond all his wishes will be fulfilled. Later Bhai Arak Singh of Lehal Kalan served this place.
