This Gurdwara is situated at a distance of 2 Km from Lehragaga Railway Station, 22 Km from Sunam and 16 Km from Jakhal on Sunam-Jakhal Road in village Gaga.
The Ninth Sikh Guru, Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji visited this place during his journey of Malwa region, while coming from Village Gobindpur. Guru Ji was on his way from Talwandi Sabo to Dhamtan. Guru Ji had come here for Night stay and tied his horse with a Jand tree. Some of Guru Ji's followers went to the fields to get grass for their horses. But the Villagers, not knowing about the presence of Guru Ji in the Village, did not allow Sikhs to take grass. The Sikhs went back to Guru Ji and told him the whole story. Guru Ji left Village Gaga and reached Village Gurne Kalan.
The natives of Village Gaga soon realized their mistake and they came to Village Gurne kalan to seek forgiveness. After a stay of 3 Days Guru Ji went to Village Makorar. The natives of Gaga also followed Guru Ji and continued to ask for forgiveness. Finally at Village Makorar, Guru Ji blessed them and they returned to their Village Gaga. The Villagers constructed Gurdwara Jand Sahib at the place where Guru Ji had halted and tied his horse with a Jand tree.
