This Gurdwara is situated at a distance of 28 Km Southeast of Bathinda City on Bathinda-Sardulgarh Road in town Talwandi Sabo which is also known as Guru Ki Kashi and is near Gurdwara Darbar Sahib or Manji Sahib Patshahi IX.
This is an octagonal tower where Tenth Sikh Guru, Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji resided during his stay at Talwandi Sabo. When Ninth Sikh Guru, Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji had arrived at Talwandi Sabo in 1675 during his journey from Anandpur Sahib to Delhi for martyrdom, he had bowed at this place saying First Sikh Guru, Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji had visited this place and Guru Gobind Singh Ji would also visit here.
Gurdwara Sri Niwas Asthan is an octagonal tower where Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji resided during his stay at Talwandi Sabo. When Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji first arrived at Talwandi Sabo, Guru Sahib ackowledged the place where Sri Guru Nanak Sahib Ji had visited and pedicted that Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji would also visit here. The Guru Granth Sahib is now seated in a domed room at the top floor of the tower.
